Internet advertising
continues to grow rapidly. The Interactive Advertising Bureau
and PricewaterhouseCoopers released Internet advertising revenue
figures for the second quarter and the first six months of 2005.
For the quarter, online ad revenues totaled $2.985 billion, a
26% increase over same period 2004.

Another source
gives a similar rosy projection. Chris Winfield, president of
10e20search advises that engine ad revenues are expected to double
within the next 5 years to nearly $19 billion.
